Yes, I applied as a sole trader through my online Ebay business (Im not VAT registered though).....I have a business here in the UK and I use Ebay to sell the items online. Being VAT registered wont matter at all, you just need to show them your sales records and that you're registered to pay tax..........I just wrote a simple cover letter (litterally one paragraph) that said I work online through my Ebay business and I want to continue working whilst in Thailand (I put the link to my Ebay store in the cover letter so they could go directly to it)......I just uploaded a screenshot of my sales for the past year and another one for the past month. Plus downloaded a pdf of my last tax return.....Took about 10 days to be approved through London 👍
