Wondering if someone could help, I’m trying to figure out what the covid 19 extension is actually classified as, what type of Non Immigrant visa it falls under? Or is it a completely separate thing?

I converted to covid visa from a Non ED a few months ago and now trying to register myself on the vaccine registry and there is no covid 19 option under current visa, just a bunch of Non Immigrant categories and ED etc.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The COVID-19 extension in Thailand is classified as an extension of your previous visa type rather than a new visa category. Based on community input, if you converted to a COVID-19 extension from a Non-ED visa, you should continue to refer to your most recent visa type for any registrations, such as the vaccine registry. For instance, if you were previously on an ED visa, you should indicate that you are still under an ED visa for these purposes.

it is an exemption so go with your previous visa stamp - for example I was on a toursit visa and the the covid exemtion so I say I am on a tourist visa (most recent visa stamp)

You were on an ED visa, that's the choice you would use Non-Immigrant Type ED <- as
@Mel****
correctly stated EVEN if you go to covid extensions they are only extending your stay FROM the visa/extension you were on before you started with a covid extension

As I understand its just the extension of your last Visa Type. Even you’re not Student anymore your ED Visa is the one who get extended with the „Covid Extension“.. so for the registration I would use „ED Visa“ because this is the one you are extending currently ✨🙏
