What is the current visa status after having a non-B visa with extensions due to COVID?

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can help with this. Trying to figure out what my current visa type is. Sorry if it's been asked before.

I was previously on a non-b with one year extension, but it was terminated in December as I left my job. After that I was given an under consideration stamp, followed by a 60 day extension.

Does this mean I'm now on a tourist visa/ still on an extension of non-b/something else?

Immigration staff can't seem to be able to answer this question and say it's a 'COVID visa' but that doesn't seem to be an actual visa type.

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is trying to determine their current visa status after their non-B visa was terminated and they received an extension due to COVID-19. According to comments from the community, the user appears to be on an extension of stay due to COVID, rather than holding any formal visa type.

It seems you're not actually on any Visa. Your visa has expired but as you cannot leave, you've been given the Covid extension. But what form are you filling in that calls for visa type?

Ok that makes sense, despite so many people saying that's impossible. It's with a potential employer, they said they need to know my visa type before proceeding with anything.

Rea George. In that case I would say that you're on the Covid-19 extension. I'm sure any employer would be aware of what that is.

Thanks so much, I'll explain this again. They don't seem to be aware of it as they said I still need a visa type.

Rea George. It's a long shot, but try sending a message through the Thai immigration Facebook page and ask the question whether you're still classed as being on an extension of your expired visa, or whether that is now completely forgotten. It might just be a curly situation that they don't even know themselves. I understand people have secured employment having been on the covid extension, and been able to obtain a non-B visa, so they must be familiar with the situation. Give it a try anyway, you have nothing to lose

You aren’t on ANY visa type. You are on an extension of stay due to Covid.

Thanks, yes they've confirmed this. But I need to know what my actual current visa type is. Completing some documents and nobody seems to be able to tell me.

maybe you don't have a visa at all.
