What type of visa should my mom list for her vaccine registration in Thailand if she switched from a tourist visa to a Non-O visa and then received a guardian visa extension?

Hello there,

Please help me with this question as I’m trying to help my mom to register for vaccine. My mom entered Thailand with a tourist visa then switched to non-immigrant “o” visa. (For 3 months I think) After that, she got a guardian visa extension from my brother’s school.

In this case, is her visa classified as non-immigrant “O” visa? or any other visa type?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user's mother entered Thailand on a tourist visa, switched to a non-immigrant 'O' visa, and later received a guardian visa extension. For vaccine registration, the most recent visa in her passport, which is likely the Non-O visa, should be declared. This is advised because healthcare personnel may not be familiar with visa classifications.

LOOK in the passport, and see the most recent visa that is stamped/ glued. That is the visa you would put down in the vaccine application.

The people at the hospitals are nurses and not immigration officers. They would have NO idea what the difference between a visa or extension of stay is, and I doubt they would even flip through the passport (they didn't when I got my vaccine).

Put down the Non-O visa and don't overthink it

I had a similar question. I was on non o ED visa. Now on Covid extension. Same applies to me?

Yes, same applies to you. Put down whatever visa you have, NOT the extension of stay.
