As of now, there has been a recent extension of the COVID visa, now valid until May 24, 2022. However, holders of non-immigrant visas may find the extension less relevant, as the opportunity to acquire a COVID extension if holding a non-immigrant visa ended on January 25, 2022. Further announcements regarding the situation are anticipated.
okay I understand what you mean. I will find an agent to go on my behalf maybe that’s a safer option. Or wait till the baby is born and then do a non-O.
okay I have a month long overstay because I was trying to switch to an ed visa. And I don’t have vaccines so leaving is difficult for me. Plus my gf is pregnant and I want to help her and take care of her
You have to be really careful man, if you overstay more than 90 days you'll get blacklisted for 1 year. Month is a long time. I wouldn't go to immigration yourself, I'd let an agent contact them for you.
Also, once your child is born you'd be eligible for a Non-O based on having Thai family. You have to make it here that long though and don't get blacklisted.
If you're on a month long overstay, I wouldn't go to immigration. If you're caught in country on overstay you can be arrested and deported. Whatever you do, don't go over the 90 day mark.
Depends on how much of an overstay. Some offices will let you pay on overstay fine and get an extension (especially if you've tested positive for Covid and have been isolating).
