TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a 60-day tourist visa, you can use the Thai e-Visa website if your country has adopted this service. Alternatively, you can apply at your local Thai embassy. The tourist visa can be extended to 90 days, but the extension must be done in person at the local immigration office in Thailand. It's advised to have all necessary documents like a passport photo and a TM30 form for the extension process. Some users suggest using a service to handle the application due to frequent changes in Thai immigration laws.

How do you stay 90 days.dont you need a return flight at 60 days
and therein lies one of the great mysteries of Thai Immigration. They say u need it but rarely ask for it at the airport

It’s very difficult to do by yourself because Ty law changes as fast as you can put a quarter into a parking lot. It’s better to go to a service and have the service do it for you. It is worth the US$50 trust me because if you make one mistake, after you pay them, you forfeit that money and you start all over again it’s much better to hire the service

It’s not complicated, after all you still have to provide the needed documents, and submitting the papers to the authorities, can be done more easily than through a middlemand.
And the laws are not changed all the time, only something called corona changed the rules temporarily, and that happend in almost every country.
If you make a mistake you can correct it. You get email notification. You then go back to the e-visa sight and make the correction then submit it again. I just went through this process recently.
if you mean link to the extension, it has to be done in person at the local immigration where you stay in Thailand. You can only apply for the tourist visa online.

Just go to you're nearest immigration office pay 1900 baht take a passport photo and a copy of your TM30 and your passport

But that will only give you 30 + 30 days.
Tourist visa gives you 60 + 30 days, for a lower price.
Not a lower price as Visa Exempt is free and all extensions are 1900B

Tourist visa is around 1300 baht to be allowed 60 days in Thailand.
Visa excempt + extension is 1900 Baht to be allowed 60 days in Thailand ( not including passport photo and making the nessesary copys).
So if you got any math skills 1900 is more than 1300.
And then you even have the possibility to buy an extention to the tourist visa, which again is cheaper, and less timeconsuming, than most border bounces.
On top of that, it is much much easier, to apply for a tourist visa sitting in front of your computer, than having to finding the nearest Immigration office, to get to the Immigration office, wait in queue in the blasting sun, and come back again a couple of hours later to collect you passport with the extension.

If you are in a country whose Thai embassy has adopted e-visa, then you would apply here:

If not, you would apply at the Thai embassy that serves your area. Additional details should be available on the website of your Thai embassy regardless.
