Looking for Visa Advice!

My husband is currently working in Thailand and has a work visa, me and the kids are looking to piggyback off of his visa. I am pretty sure we need to apply for an O visa but which one we need it to be a longer then visitor visa since we will be their for the foreseeable future. Thank you for anyone that can help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on obtaining a Non-O visa for themselves and their children as dependents of their husband, who holds a work visa in Thailand. Commenters suggest obtaining a Non-O visa based on 'trailing spouse' status, and recommend applying for a 90-day single entry Non-O visa either from the Thai consulate in their current country or at the local immigration office in Thailand after arrival.

you need documentation from his employer stating it's okay that you get a Non-O visa based on "trailing spouse" and the kids get them based on being dependents.

You can apply for 90 day single entry Non-O visas in the thai consulate of the country you're in BEFORE you wing your way here OR you can all come in and then apply for the 90 day Non-O visas at the immigration office where you live.

I'd say get the Non-O's before you come here if you can.

Once you get the 90 day Non-O visas you then wait until you have 30 days or less left and apply for a matching extension that your husband has at the immigration office

please have your marriage certificate and brith certificate of your children be legalized by your government before coming here. You need that when you will extend your visa here in Thailand.
