Can someone recommend an insurance agent who can arrange the medical insurance coverage necessary for the LTR visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the insurance requirements for the Thailand LTR visa. It is mentioned that the LTR insurance requirements are not strict; a basic travel insurance policy that covers at least $50,000 is sufficient. Additionally, there is an option to use a bank balance of $100,000 to meet the insurance requirement. The Pacific Cross insurance policy was successfully used by one user for their previous OA visa, indicating its acceptance.

You can satisfy the insurance requirement by showing that you have $100,000 in a bank account.

I qualified for my pensioner LTR using the Pacific Cross policy I used to qualify for my previous OA visa

I know. But I never keep that much in a bank account. It’s all in investment accounts, which don’t qualify.

I just want something that will satisfy the requirements for the LTR. I don’t actually need insurance.

Are you looking for the cheapest policy you don’t care about or an actual policy that will also work for the LTR?

The LTR insurance requirements are trivial. You don't need any special insurance. Just find a travel insurance policy online that covers $50,000. A couple hundred bucks at most.

I’m seeing much higher quotes than that. What company were you referring to?

Cheapest policy seems to be around US$600.

I used insubuy.com and chose the maximum deductible since I just wanted to check the box for the LTR application with no plans to ever use the insurance
