Hi 🙂 Asking for my Japanese friend and her little son.
She needs to go to Immigration at Changwattana to extend the tourist visa on the next Friday.
Can anyone advise what time should be best to arrive there?
If she arrives at 9 or 10 am, is it too late or the line will be long?
I have also heard that Bumrungrad Business Center can handle this with additional fee, will it work for this case?
Thanks in advance!
P.S. Sorry if this question has already been asked.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The best time for your friend to arrive at Changwattana Immigration for a tourist visa extension is around 9:30 to 10:00 AM. This timing should allow her to complete the process by around 11:00 or 11:30 AM. Alternatively, she can use Bumrungrad Business Center, which charges an additional 900 baht plus the standard fee for processing the extension. To utilize this service, she would need to provide a photo of her passport’s data page and current visa stamp to get on their list.
