What time should I arrive at the Chaengwattana office to extend my 30-day US visa?

What is the drop-dead time I need to be at the Chaengwattana office by for extending my 30 day US visa? I know they close 430pm.

I am NOT a morning person, and I struggle a lot with sleep. I don't mind an extra hour or 2 of waiting, but I need my extension tomorrow. Thoughts?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The best time to arrive at the Chaengwattana office for a 30-day visa extension is before 3:30 PM, as they stop handing out queue tickets at that time. Though the office closes at 4:30 PM, arriving earlier will ensure you are served on the same day. It is also recommended to avoid visiting on Mondays, Fridays, or the days surrounding public holidays due to heavy crowds. If you have health concerns that affect your ability to wait, consider arranging for an agent who can assist with the visa extension process.

It's helpful to know you will be served same day. I certainly wont wait until 3pm I just dont have the physical ability to be there 'first thing' as I have health issues. Unfortunately tomorrow is a day after a National holiday. But if i go Wednesday, then it is riskier as Wednesday is my last day

You're still gonna need to border bounce on an Ed visa anyway. 90 day reports only apply to long term extensions.

I think you may of took it the wrong way . Visa runs are hard and can be painful but living off back to back tourist visa means you have to do the runs or get a visa fit for purpose . I find on forums like this you get more help if you provide enough Information that can be advised on . Good luck with finding a solution

An agent/third party can do this for you by the way. If you dont mind paying them.

hi I appreciate your concern. But I dont like people lecturing me about my health. I will be seeking out an education visa once I find the right language school.

in all due respect your a tourist travelling is it not better to rethink your visa options ? Completely sympathise with you but they will show no mercy if your caught over staying and having a medical issue that prevents you from complying with local laws won’t help . Research some longer visas to be able to stay longer .

. If you go tomorrow, my advice is go as early as possible. Getting home from CW after 5pm is a nightmare.

Also avoid mondays and fridays. Or any day before or after a public holiday.. chaotic.

They stop.handing out queue tickets at 3pm. If you get a ticket you will be served that day regardless if they have to stay open late. Ive left there at 8pm.

☆☆☆ edit 3.30pm ☆☆☆

I was down there last week, and pretty sure it’s 3.30pm. Don’t think I’d leave it that late though.
