TLDR : Answer Summary
After your landlord fills out and submits the TM 30 application online, they need to take an additional step to obtain proof of filing. Initially, submitting the application does not provide confirmation. They must go back into the system to locate the submitted entry and take a screenshot, which serves as proof of the TM 30 filing. Note that the requirements might vary depending on your immigration office; in some areas like Chiang Mai or Jomtien, you may also need to convert the screenshot into a formal TM 30 receipt.

Depends on the immigration office you use. For most nothing other than a screenshot of the filing. The system doesn’t produce “receipts”. In Chiang Mai or Jomtien you’d need to convert that filing screenshot to an actual TM30 form receipt. Who knows why. But TIT.

It's a 2 step process to get proof of filing.

First they just fill out and submit the entry for your stay. This doesn't provide any confirmation or proof.

Then they need to go back into the system and search for the entry they just submitted. Once they have this they will take a screenshot and send that to you and that's your proof that a TM30 was filed.
