TLDR : Answer Summary
If your landlord has completed the TM30 form for you in person, they need to provide you with the receipt that is part of the form. Specifically, it's the bottom one-third of the TM30 form that serves as proof of submission.

I have seen a lot of posts about the TM30, is the requirement to have this in your passport something new? I have been here since 2005, have used 4 different immigration offices, and have never had a receipt for TM30 in my passport(only my next 90 day and a very old arrival/departure card).
That you haven't been required to show that you or your land lord filed a TM30 since you've been here is anecdotally interesting but you might wanna actually get one filed because it's been a requirement for many many MANY years now and only recently being enforced.
did my annual ext 1 July same as usual when my wife passed a few years back house went to son we did complete form but can't remember if immigration wanted it or not(i still live in our home only diff was in son name and not wifes) anywho will keep reading the comments. I still don't see need to have all this xtra in passport since it is all in computer, but that is another topic for another time. Youall have a good day.
