What should my girlfriend do after her visa application to the Netherlands was rejected and is applying for a Thai visa?

I'm guessing you might not travel much because if you did you would realize the large amount of travelers that have to apply for visas without traveling to their home country first. TheBatman1234567890 people apply for the DTV Visa from countries where they do not permanently reside all the time. You don't have to be a resident of the country to apply there. Sorry to hear that. The original poster needs to know that a mismatch in metadata will result in cancellation. That would have been the reason your application was refused. Rejection means all details entered were correct, the Embassy has considered the application but decided it doesn’t meet their requirements. Sometimes they are helpful and request more/different information. Unfortunately, other times they just reject an application without explanation.
