Hi! Does anyone know if it's legal to start working in Thailand if a foreigner already has a Non-B (the company approved with BOI and got confirmation letter from BOI for a foreigner to get a Non-B) BUT the company is still in the process of applying for work permit?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A foreigner holding a Non-B visa can only start working in Thailand once they have obtained a valid work permit. Even if the company has received BOI approval and a confirmation letter for the Non-B visa, the work permit must be approved before employment can legally commence. It is essential to wait for the work permit to be finalized to comply with Thai labor laws.
