TLDR : Answer Summary
An individual who owns a UK electrical company inquires about applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) while managing their business remotely from Thailand. Responses indicate that successful applications have been made by others in similar situations, emphasizing the importance of outlining remote work details clearly in the covering letter, along with necessary documentation like company registration and tax returns. It's noted that the Thai Embassy in the UK is generally accommodating to such cases.

Yes others have done similar with property management etc. Just outline how it works in the covering letter making it very clear that the work is completely remote and you have โ€˜permissionโ€™ to work from Thailand

I know a very similar case. Pal has building company in UK. In the covering letter he said he works remotely signing off on payroll and double checks quotations for work. He as Director wrote a letter to himself as employee stating he can work remotely from Thailand and would not engage in work in Thailand with Thais or Thai companies. All other doc supplied like company reg and tax returns. The Thai Embassy in the UK is pretty straightforward in these regards. Good luck.
