Hi does anyone know about the visa exemption after May 1 2025, I booked and paid for my trip from Australia before this was announced I’m going for 37 days, can I get a 60 exemption visa on arrival or will I be able to apply online when doing the arrival card
I appreciate any knowledge you might have thanks:)
TLDR : Answer Summary
An Australian traveler inquiring about the 60-day visa exemption for a trip to Thailand after May 1, 2025, has received clarification. Currently, there are no changes to the visa exemption rules; travelers can still expect to receive a 60-day exemption upon arrival. The key change starting May 1 is the introduction of a digital arrival card (TDAC), which travelers must complete online three days prior to departure. This digital form does not affect the duration of stay but is now a requirement for entry. If any changes were to occur in the future regarding the duration of stay, travelers could extend their stay by 30 days for a fee at the immigration office.
