Can a 60-day Tourist Visa in Thailand be extended on the last day of expiry or a week before?

In Thailand, you can apply for a 60-day Tourist visa extension when you have 30 days or less before your visa expires, but it depends on the specific immigration office's rules. Some offices allow applications 45 days before expiry while others may require you to apply within the last week. It is generally advised not to wait until the last day to make your application, and you should also consider public holidays as immigration offices may be closed.
