I wanted to study and get ED Visa, some schools told me can not if I got more than 4 stamps in my passport. Some said to pay extra, can I trust them, or it mught be scam. I haven't heard about any rules like that.. just 2 months visa plus extension is 3 stamps.. my current visa expires middle of next month.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user wants to obtain an ED Visa for studying in Thailand, but has received conflicting information from schools regarding a limit on passport stamps. Some schools claim that having more than four stamps might hinder the visa process, while others suggest paying extra. The user is uncertain about the validity of this information and has a current visa set to expire in the next month. Comments indicate that the visa process might require more time than available, and that requirements may vary by province.

If yours expire middle of next month then you will not have time. It takes about 2 months to go through the process.

I also want to get ED visa but my visa left only 30 days (only one stamp). Would it be okay to apply or exit the country and reenter with a new 60 day visa?
