I went to Nong Khai immigration today to get 60 day covid extension : within 15 minutes had 60 days added to my non -immigrant O (married to a Thai) entry stamp. No 14 day under consideration stamp! My 3 month entry stamp would haved expired on 19th May - stamped to 18th July.I was also told that I don't need to do a 90 day report.

Answer summary

An expat in Thailand successfully obtained a 60-day COVID extension for their Non-Immigrant O visa at Nong Khai immigration. They reported that the process took only 15 minutes, adding the new expiration date to July 18, 2021, and did not require a 90-day report. Comments shared additional insights on the required documents for a one-year extension and a reminder to check passport details.

Nice! That is a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19 :) We don't have a lot of reports from Nong Khai.

What were the documents you used to submit for this extension of stay?

Before you get too excited, check your passport, and see if they didn't give you a 60 day extension of stay based on visiting Thai family.
