TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a 90-day Thailand visa, you'll need to check the specific document requirements from the Thai Embassy in your country, as these can vary. Generally, documents should be uploaded in PDF format. You don't need a booked flight, but you should provide flight information. It's recommended to apply around 2-3 weeks before your intended travel date, ideally about 2 months in advance if you plan to travel at the end of September.

Look up what you need. Google immigration. It will give you all the information you need rather than taking advice from FB. This is what I do for accuracy

The application does not ask you for a booked flight, it just asks you for flight information. Look up a flight to Thailand and put the information.

A non-O visa is valid for 90 days, so you can safely apply about 2 months before your planned travel date.

It depends on the Thai Embassy in the country you apply from, there you will find the exact list of documents needed and in what format you have to upload them (mostly pdf). 2-3 weeks before you leave would be enough I guess.
