Hi, my new school needs the cancellation document of my WP from my previous school. But me previous school didn't cancel it and even doesn't know where is it (actually I sent them after leaving). And now.. IS it a problem?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The issue discussed revolves around a person whose new school requires a cancellation document for their work permit (WP) from a previous school. The individual highlights a problem since the previous school has neither canceled the WP nor knows its whereabouts. A comment suggests visiting the Ministry of Labour to resolve the situation, emphasizing the importance of personally handling work permit cancellations to avoid future complications.

It sure sounds like a problem to me... :O

I see a visit to the ministry of labour in your near future to sort out what happened to the old work permit and to get a receipt of having canceled it. :/

This is why we suggest to people over and over to go cancel their own work permit when they stop working. It's YOUR work permit and you are the one that has the problems if it's not canceled, not the place where you work. :(

Sorry about that.. Good Luck (y)
