Admin I have searched first

I have a an evisa O visa m.

I have lost the letter that came with it and also can't find the email.

I assumed as it was an evisa I would not have a problem on my second re entry however the immigration officer was insistent that I should have it but allowed me in THIS TIME.

How do I get a new copy of the letter?I have written and asked the embassy with no reply.

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary

Despite being allowed entry on this occasion, they seek guidance on how to obtain a new copy of the letter after not receiving a response from the embassy. you were super lucky to be let in, by rights they could have denied you entry and let you find/print the PDF to get back in.

Or they'd have let you in visa exempt and after you found and printed that PDF you would have had to exit/re-enter the country to straighten out your stamps

Let this be a lesson to everyone who has an eVisa (single OR multiple entry)

You need to keep that print out of the PDF because it IS your visa.

Print it and put it in your passport.

You'll need to show it to re-enter the country on a multi-entry visa and you'll need to show it to get an extension from the immigration office.

Just had a member who entered on a single entry Non-O visa be denied a year extension of stay at his immigration office because he did not have the PDF print out of his visa. He was able to access the eVisa system when he got home, download and print the PDF file of his visa so he'll go back to the immigration office Monday to try again.

Keep in mind the thai consulates and embassies who SELL visas are run by the ministry of foreign affairs office, while all the entry points and immigration offices in the country are run by the immigration division of the royal thai police.

They are two completely different governmental agencies and immigrations cannot log into the MFA eVisa site to see if you do indeed have a visa or not.

I do now understand but really thought the letter was for the airlines etc. To check. The fist time I re entered I wasn't questioned so when I couldn't find it just assumed
