What should I do if my AXA health insurance policy PDF is too large to upload to the Thai E-visa website?

I just received the Easy Care VISA health insurance policy in a PDF through AXA Insurance which was listed in the Longstay.tgia.org website. It also included the Foreign Insurance Certificate. The policy itself is four pages and 4 MB which is too large to upload and gets rejected when trying to upload to the Thai E-visa website. The PDF is protected from modification so I can't make the file smaller. I sent an email to AXA in Bankok explaining the situation but I'm not hopeful they will do anything about it. I wish uploading the Foreign Insurance Certificate was sufficient, but it seems that the actual policy document is a requirement when choosing a company from the longstay.tgia.org website. anybody have any suggestions?
Answer summary
A user is facing issues uploading their AXA health insurance policy PDF, which is too large for the Thai E-visa website. They received useful suggestions from the community, such as using file compression tools, printing to PDF to reduce size, and splitting the document into separate uploads. Several users also shared their experiences with the upload process and the required documents, noting that a Foreign Insurance Certificate might suffice in some cases.

Every insurance can send you a form, where everything is written on one DinA4 side, in any language you want.

My insurance ist 164 letters long, but why the hell the immigration or embassy will need it?

Is there not a page that summarises the cover? If so simply take a screenshot and upload that

We are in Vancouver 🇨🇦, contemplating to apply Non OA instead of Non O but not sure which insurance company in Thailand supports pre-existing health conditions, mainly diabetes and coronary syndrome. Interested to know how much premium you pay.

Thank you 🙏

When you open it, give it a print job. It opens in print mode. You can save the document here. There is no longer a password.

Pull up the PDF and then try to ‘print to PDF’ and see what the size is.

There are also so many online PDF file size reducers

Eric DugganYou don’t have to have a printer. PCs have a print to PDF option in the print menu. It turns it into a plain pdf like if you printed then scanned it. That file can also be further manipulated by a PDF editor if needed.

Eric Duggan You don’t need a physical printer for that.

Most phones and computers have a “Print to PDF” option that just creates a new PDF file.

Open the file → Print → choose Save as PDF.

That usually removes the encryption and creates a new file you can compress or upload.

Alternatively, go to a site like

iLovePDF

Smallpdf

Choose Unlock PDF.

Upload the file.

Download the unlocked version.

Then run Compress PDF.
