Just a heads up can turn off commenting.

Arrived DMK last night

Non Imm AO Issued before insurance edict.

Stamped in no problem.

Took a little while she seemed to be researching something in computer and hand held device then stamped me in OK

No questions regarding insurance at all though I do have it.

Very pleased thanks you guys and Rob Hua Hin for all the guidance and information. Very pleased.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post details an individual's experience entering Thailand on a Non-Immigrant OA visa issued prior to the new health insurance requirement. Upon arrival, they were stamped in without any questions about insurance, despite having it. Comments clarify that as long as the visa was issued before the insurance requirement took effect, the holder is not obligated to show proof of insurance until they seek a yearly extension.

Umm you DON'T have to have insurance at this time. Your O-A visa was issued BEFORE the rule went into effect and you are free to use the visa until it expires. It's only if you go to get a yearly extension of stay from the immigration office after the visa is running out that you would need to carry health insurance by one of the 12 thai carriers
