Hi there, I’ve a couple of questions that I’d love to be answered. I have looked online but some of the answers don’t go quite in depth. So if any can be answered that would be great.

1. When applying for mauy Thai visa. Can I just get the 15 lessons and that’s it for 5 years or need to keep doing paying every 6 months ?

2 can my wife come on my visa and if so. Does she need to also have 500,000 in the bank also ? Or can we have the money in the joint account and show separately

3 I have all my money spread out. So am I able to just transfer into a bank account and show this. Or do they not like having money transferred before applying.

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the Muay Thai visa application process, specifically regarding the number of required lessons, the financial requirements for bringing a spouse, and the necessity of bank transfers before applying. Responses highlighted that fulfilling the lesson requirement is essential for visa compliance, that the spouse needs a separate visa with financial proof, and that banks may have varying rules regarding accepted transfers.

Those questions have been answered in depth countless times, so scroll or search the group.

Don’t forget to read the website of the preferred Embassy, since requirements differ from Embassy to Embassy.

1. Officially after the 15 lessons when you don't take lessons anymore you do not comply anymore with the visa requirements.

At the moment this is only checked when you extend in country for additional 180 days and very rare at (re)entry of the country.

It is up to you what risks you want to take.

2. if your application is granted and you have a marriage certificate, she can get her own visa as dependant from you, she also needs 500K in the bank, some embassies also accept 1000K in a joined account.

3. Also depends on embassy, some accept when the money is there at application date, others want it a number of months before.
