Hey currently on tourist amnesty I can’t locate my departure card anyway, not in my passport or my backpack nothing and I would like to apply for a 30 day extension but see that departure card is a required item to apply. Is there any options in regards to loosing a departure card

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you've lost your departure card (TM6) while on a tourist amnesty in Thailand, there are a couple of options available. Some immigration offices may allow you to apply for a new card directly when you apply for your extension, while others may require a police report confirming the loss of the card. To be safe, it's advisable to obtain a police report, which can be done for free at any police station. Some individuals have reported successful replacements of their departure cards at the police station on the same day they requested an extension.

I got mine replaced -- at a police station near Muang Thong Thani, actually -- the day I went to apply for an extension. (I'm also here on tourist amnesty; entered on 28 February.) It was very straightforward; took maybe 10 minutes from the time I got there.

Considering how worried and anxious I was about having lost it, the ease of replacing it was a huge relief. :D

Yep, believe me EVERY police station knows how to write up the report, you're far from the first foreigner in the history of thailand to lose a TM6 departure card :P

Believe me you're not the first foreigner who lost their TM6 arrival/departure card.

SOME immigration offices just give you a new one and write the numbers of the old on on it when you get your extension

BUT

SOME immigration offices require you to get a police report stating you lost the card before they will give you a new one.

I'd say go get a police report before you go for your extension and least that way you're covered IF they ask for one. It's free at any police station.

Good Luck
