TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is a UK passport holder on a Non-O multi-visa, married with two children, and is concerned after losing their TM6 departure card. They have until May 17th for their visa but are unsure if this loss poses a serious issue, especially since they want to apply for a 60-day extension. Community responses suggest that while it is generally manageable, obtaining a police report for the lost card may be necessary, particularly when requesting an extension. Users noted that losing the card isn't uncommon among expats in Thailand.

OK thanks i will do that. Only time my passport is ever opened is when i go to the bank and draw cash using my CC, they pgotocopy my passport. A month ago they phoned my after forgetting to put it back in, but today at the bank they looked and said they had not seen it. I will try the second road branch i used last week tomorrow.
well in that case what I'd do is GO to a police station and get a police report stating you lost your TM6 departure card and take THAT with me when I went to get the 60 day visit family extension.
Some offices make you get a police report before they will issue you a new TM6 departure card, so get the police report before you go to try for the extension :) that way you've got that covered IF they do ask for it
as long as you're not going to the immigration office to get any extension you're fine. Pick up a new one at the airport or border when you go to exit thailand.
