What should I do if I can't submit my 90-day report online due to app issues and I am out of my home province?

Hello, 90 day online report question if I may.

I have successfully been using the online eService with my iPhone app for the last ~ several times. I’ve had to leave my province due to a family death. As I try to log on line (yesterday and today) I get a “server error Notification”. My due date is August 12. I believe on line app allows until due date and I can after that go to my local immigration office and renew up to 1 week after due date.

My questions are :

1. If iPhone app fails to work can I go to immigration in another province to report?

2. Other Options I think if not allowed out of province (Huahin)

a) cross the border (Ubon and Laos) to reset 90 day upon reentry ( I do have a valid re-entry permit)

b) pay fine when I return back to my province (maybe return back in a month)

Appreciate any assistance on this.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user encountered server errors while trying to submit their 90-day report via the iPhone app after leaving their province due to a family emergency. They inquired about reporting to immigration in another province, options such as crossing the border to reset their 90-day count, and the consequences of paying a fine when returning. Commenters clarified that the app is no longer available and suggested using the web service instead. They reassured that there is typically only one fine for missing a 90-day report, and exiting the country isn't necessary due to reporting issues.

Apps haven’t been available for a while now and are probably no longer maintained. The system often has outages so you may just need to try again (both the app and Ellie’s link). Online is equally convenient and turnaround is usually 24 hours or less if your reported details have not changed.

My understanding is if you missed your 90 days report, doesn't matter one time or multiple times, there is only a one time fine and I see no reason why you should exit the country because of a 90 days report. Please correct me if I am wrong. Maybe someone with better knowledge of the rules can confirm.

, right. but as OP did he would be near to Laos border, maybe cost of border bounce is cheaper than fine for delaying 90 days report. But it’s the decision for the op to make

@Ellie ******
tho the OP might be near the border, bouncing here and there is a small risk of being refused entry. Just my thought, why risk it when not necessary.

@Lo *****
what risk is there of being denied entry? the officers at passport control at exit/entry points to thailand (airports and land borders) don't care if you ever filed a 90 day report at the immigration office.. It's not their job
Ellie *******
@Lo *****
, I don’t see what “risk” you are talking about as OP has valid visa/extension and re-entry permit.

Would you enlighten me what you are talking about?

@Lo *****
and there's (probably) the one page Laos visa in the passport plus exit & entry stamps making renewal sooner

@Lo *****
totally correct, there is a static fine if 2000 baht <- static meaning that whether you're 8 days late or 8 months late it doesn't matter the fine doesn't increase .
@Don ****
I sure wouldn't bounce out and back to "re-set", as the cost of a Lao visa certainly is close to the 2000baht fine..

just wait and when ever you want to go to your immigration office and file a late 90 day report take the 2000baht fine and then start filing like normal

I will continue to watch this thread as interesting talking points develop. We are about a 45 minute drive to the crossing.. the family is talking about a visit any ways. So that may well be the decisive factor.

Thank you for insightfulness

@Don ****
yep, if you're going to make a trip out of the country BEFORE the 90 day report comes due which you say is the 12th you can reset the 90 day count down clock.

@Lo *****
Correct, the cost of exiting would probably be more than the fine and for very little benefit

Mobile apps for 90 days reporting are no longer available in official stores, Apple or Google, for a quite while. Not sure that server error is because of that. The current system is on web browsers (

Better to go to the immigration bureau site and click TM.47 link from the top page to see the notification on the popup window at least for the first time. (

Your options 2-a) or b) would work, too. Your choice.

I was able to create an account from the link you provided and get my 90 day request into pending status. It appears to be a much more user friendly application 😎.

Since the password was system generated, I could not figure out how to change it (if possible) 🤪

Appreciate everyone’s input for the knowledge sharing 👍🏻

You can change the password from "Forgot Password?" link on the login window

@Don ****
whatever you do... AVOID POIPET BORDER CROSSING for border bounce

👍🏻. Ok. Will plan on Ubon Ratchathani area to Laos. Visit for a bit.

I’ve been same address for a few years (in Huahin). App never seemed reliable but was working for the last several times. The link Ellie listed does not work from phone, I’ll try with lap top later on and will get on a new process while on travel soon. 😎 thank you
