anybody have trouble getting the medical certificate completed for the Non-O/A Visa? The 2 doctors I've been to can't request laboratory work for Leprosy and Elephantiasis. I guess because these diseases are not in the United States. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is facing challenges obtaining a medical certificate required for a Non-O/A Visa, as two doctors have declined to conduct tests for leprosy and elephantiasis, which are not commonly tested in the U.S. Other community members have suggested that many GPs might overlook outdated requirements and simply sign off on the forms. They also recommended considering the Non-O Visa instead, which does not require these tests or health insurance. Additionally, some users mentioned that it may be beneficial to travel to a larger city, such as Bangkok, for easier access to the medical services needed.

Unless you have a specific reason to get the non-OA choose the non-O instead. No health insurance, no background checks, no medical reports. Your doctor should be able to determine with an interview, no tests are needed.
