EXPERIENCE ARRIVING IN PHUKET TODAY:

Left Phuket on a business visa (planning to return and cancel it before activating DTV)

Went through the ‘fast track’ at immigration and they said I had to enter on DTV (I didn’t tell them I had DTV, it obviously just came up on their system).

I told them I was advised I had to come back and cancel my business visa and work permit but they asked a few staff and said that wasn’t correct so stamped me in on DTV.

They were very pleasant about it so just an FYI!

B can cancel at system in airport immigration but WP he should request to cancel

It is not related to Immigration

UPDATE: at no point did I show them my visa email or proof, they said it’s an e-visa so you have to use it

Anonymous participant you'll still need to cancel your work permit, and if your on an extension of stay based on a Non-B you need to cancel that too
