Please help me with advice! I stay on koh Samui. I have one year business multi visa with border crossings every 90 days. My visa is valid until December 2020. I lost my 90 days stamp because covid 19 and all the borders are closed right now. I am married to thai citizen and we have a son. Right now I want to apply for a extension visa 60 days to meet with my family. But! But immigration to koh Samui said! Your starting day for a visa extension 60 days is not September 27th! Your starting day is the day of submitting documents to immigration! And i must to submit documents now! So. How gonna get my extension 60 days visa after 26 september?! Thanks for answer)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is facing challenges with their business multi-visa, which requires border crossings every 90 days. Due to COVID-19, they lost their 90-day stamp and are now trying to apply for a 60-day extension to stay with their Thai family. Immigration officials in Koh Samui informed them that the extension's start date is the submission date, which may complicate their situation as they are seeking an extension post-September 26th.

Apply for the 1 year Extension of Stay based on employment or based on marriage with a Thai citizen,

Why apply for only 60 days, the chance the land borders open in 60 days is small,

okay, take your passport, visit the Immigration Office, ask for the hand out with requirements for the 1 year Extension of Stay based on employment and ask if it is possible to apply for 1 year Extension of Stay based on marriage,

Take both hand outs back home and see which one you can use by making the copy, tick the box, When all done, go back and apply
