The 60 days Covid extention for visiting family, will be cancelled next week.

The 90 days borderrun is too difficult with the quarentaine obligations.

So what is a solution when you have a multiple entry visa ( married to Thai) in your passport valid untill November 2021 and you would like to stay just one month longer in Thailand ( from 22 Feb.thru 21 March 2021)?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 60-day COVID-19 extension for visiting family is set to be canceled soon. However, there are still options available for extending your stay. You can apply for a 60-day extension of stay based on visiting Thai family, which is available once per entry or once per visa depending on the immigration office. Ensure you apply by January 29 if you haven't already obtained this extension.

Ask for a 60.days COVID extension by January 29. You may get lucky.

There is no such extension as a 60 day COVID-19 extension for visiting family. There is:

1. A 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to Covid-19. The last day to apply is January 29.

2. A 60 day extension of stay based on visiting Thai family. You can get one extension of stay on each entry. (Note: some immigration offices allow the extension once per visa).

If you have not already got the extension of stay based on visiting Thai family, get that extension.
