Hello,

i applied for DTV soft power (e-visa Vienna) and i got this request for 5 further documents via mail:

Can anyone tell me what they mean with this one?

Other request documents: Thai school's establishment document in Thai (ใบอนุญาตให้จัดตั้งโรงเรียน)

My Muai Thai center has no idea what this could be. We already submitted the business license.

Together with this muay thai centre, DTVs have already been approved.

Thankfully

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has applied for a DTV soft power visa in Vienna and received a request for additional documents, specifically a Thai school's establishment document. Confusion arises as their Muay Thai center is unsure about this requirement, having already submitted its business license. Comments from other users clarify that the establishment of the gym as a registered training school might not be essential for securing the visa, though a sports authority license and other documentation are needed. Some users also mention that various gyms have successfully obtained visas without being registered schools, suggesting a lack of consistency in requirements across different applications.

I have done 50 muay thai visas from my gym in chiang mai. We are not a registered school with the ministry of education. But the schools that are registered are trying to tell people it's a requirement in order to monopolize and compensate for loss of ed visa buisness, but that's not true.

You definitely need sports authority of Thailand gym license. Board of Boxing Sport A License is often requested and ministry of education skills development certification is a bonus. The gym should also be a Ltd company.

Your average gym will have sports authority license and maybe A License but only the big gyms are Ltd company

We have the lot and never failed on soft power paperwork although 1 guy failed on bank statements

It has to be a registered training school and they should have the correct certificates. If they cannot do it, I would cancel it and go with one of the three big names above

thanks. I am just wondering why it is ok for some countries to not be a training school and for some it HAST TO BE!

This is why we cannot say it “has to be” since I know of ppl with approval from the Center i am applying with.

Also “canceling”: I already applied and they requested further documents from this center. So “canceling” is not possible without losing the money.

Did you apply in the same embassy where others successfully obtained their DTV earlier with the same school and the same document?
Andrew *******
it has nothing to do with being a registered school. I received the visa with soft power via Muay Thai with the following documents.

- invitation letter from the gym(your name and passport addressed to the embassy)

- receipt of payment

- I am staying at the gym so land registration book

- registration with sports authority(this is what you need)

@Andrew ******
that's actually not sports authority license that's the board of boxing sport. It's a sub department of the sports authority. It should serve the same purpose and will be accepted but it's different to the sports authority of Thailand gym license

my mistake. Thanks for rectifying. You were one of the first people to have all the correct info. Any idea why everyone thinks the gym needs to considered a “school” when in reality not.

My friends gym in CMX (who is not a registered school as well)got their DTV from the UK embassy with only

- invitation letter

-copy of gym owners ID

- their passport bio page

- bank statement

@Andrew ******
yea it's possible to get without all documents but to be totally sure and to tick all the boxes best use a gym with the full set of docs

The Ed visa gyms are loosing business so trying to monopolies things by putting out false information

You definitely don't need a registered school. Proof is us, 50 done and not a school

thing is that Austria is straight asking for it…. So maybe Austria has its own rules….

@Derry ********
exactly. Yes I know of one registered ED gym trying to say you need to buy 6 months of training at a time for your visa to be legitimate. Thats probably the biggest one too

but you don’t have a clue - what support are you supplying? He already submitted documents. Clearly you are a fake. But good luck

I’m the one who received the visa with the documents as I said, and uploaded my visa when you dared to question me. It’s great you’re an uptight weirdo who doesn’t know what he’s talking about, jumping on every thread sharing your 2 cents but it doesn’t mean you have any idea what you’re talking about. Don’t hurt yourself out there

thanks mate. I already submitted invitation letter, receipt (proof of payment), daily schedule of the camp… but e-Visa-Vienna is asking straight for the thai schools establishment document…

@Na ******
sounds like they want a business registration or most likely, the document I provided. You should ask your gym for it if they have it

they already have the business registration/license… and I asked the gym for the document you shared, thanks.

May I ask where you applied? Nationality?
Andrew *******
@Na ******
Canada. I know a few people who received the visa with these documents so disregard the other guys comments. You know what ask your gym for their DBD document, that may be it. I also submitted that. Hope it works out for you. If you have any other questions don’t hesitate

- you are not even answering the requests that the embassy asked him. They asked for education license. Thoughts?
