DTV approved (Soft power - MuayThai)

Applied through London embassy, very simple and easy. Any questions feel free to ask.

How many months did you have to show 500k in bank account, just current bank statement? And how long did you have 500k in there for?

London is fine with a one-month statement, no limit of having the 500kTHB banked.

how about HCMC and Hanoi? I think it’s same policy? Would rather not travel all the way to London if possible

Ok, Vietnam is ok with a final balance of 500kK THB, recent postings of success have been with just one month statement. You can upload 3 months to be on the safe side, they do not have to have 500k for every month. I recommend you avoid Malaysia need 6mths and 500k for every month. Vietnam has a friendly and easy approval record providing you give the docs they want.

ok thanks I’m currently on 300k ish, if I transfer in 200k from a friend to make 500k- just one day before I leave - take a screenshot- do you think Vietnam would accept that ?

Others have done similar and got approved. The final balance on day of application is key, so you will be ok.

Was it a gym that offered a special DTV program? Or just a regular gym and you asked them to give some papers?

no, you don’t need any flight tickets to apply for the visa. it just asks the intended date of arrival and departure, but you can just put any dates.

the exact dates of how long you’ll be studying muay thai for at their gym, and that the total payment has already been made to the gym in advance. It will also help if the gym you pick is approved by the Government

How many days before the beginning of the course did you apply?

I was refused because I said my course started in January. They said that it was too late, that I needed to apply on a date near to the beginning of the course.

they wanted you to start the MT classes closer to when you apply for the visa? Saying January is too late to start?

exactly. It says in the site to apply "earlier than 21 days". However January is too far for them. I think I'll apply again 25 days before, to see if it works.
