If you book flights through the VIETJET app be aware that domestic fares are dealt with in Vietnam ONLY however international to Thailand are a different company and any inquiry must be directed to Thailand . Though it appears it is one company they will not issue credits to each other or share. The call centre number shown in the web site is for Vietnam ONLY . Thai vietjet is +6620891909 . I just wasted an international flight ! Fly AIRASIA as a much better and professional low cost airline .

Answer summary

When booking flights with VietJet, be cautious that their domestic fares are handled solely within Vietnam, while international flights to Thailand are managed by a different company. Consequently, any inquiries for international flights must be directed to Thai VietJet's local contact number. The separation of these services can lead to complications, such as issues with crediting or exchanging tickets. Additionally, some users recommend considering AirAsia as a more reliable low-cost airline.

I applied for DTV in Saigon and I'm waiting for the result, because then I have a stopover in Bangkok and Milan.

You should wait to get approved or they will ask for additional documents. How long will it take? It can take from a few days to a few weeks
