What should I know about booking flights with VIETJET and applying for a DTV visa in Thailand?
If you book flights through the VIETJET app be aware that domestic fares are dealt with in Vietnam ONLY however international to Thailand are a different company and any inquiry must be directed to Thailand . Though it appears it is one company they will not issue credits to each other or share. The call centre number shown in the web site is for Vietnam ONLY . Thai vietjet is +6620891909 . I just wasted an international flight ! Fly AIRASIA as a much better and professional low cost airline .

I thought you didn’t need proof of steady income? I mean take what I say with a grain of salt, I havent gone through the process, but when checking the requirements on the embassy’s website here in France, they are only asking for a single invoice from a client as proof of income. Just one. And proof it reached your account. The only thing you need consistent over a few months is 15k€ on an account. But maybe someone with actual experience knows better and can correct me.

I think savings is more important than consistent income. If you just put 500k baht in a few weeks ago it looks bad. If you have more then obviously your application will be more favorable

Be happy to choose Thailand as the place to be without income.
This dreamworld country is the best in the world where young foreigners get free housing, free healthcare, a very good financial support to pay for food, drinks, parties and the rent from a nice villa with private swimming pool.
They will even set up a fund for your old age.

Anonymous participant that's a good question ❓.... I would suggest you apply in Vientiane Laos... and read the posts about getting the DTV visa for Workcation at the Thai Embassy in VIENTIANE. It's past midnight now in Thailand... I will look at several of the posts re Vientiane and post them tomorrow in reply.

I only have 2 invoices yet
Before that my income was small too.
I do have active freelance projects and longterm projects going.
Plus the bank requirement x3
But even then I read they doubt people to get approved 🫣
Meanwhile someone who buys a course and barely hits the 500k gets a dtv visa 5 days later

Yeah exactly, that is the issue that I am seeing as well. I can support myself, I have enough savings if the business goes flat again, but that is not what they may think when they see an irregular, small income. That is why I am asking this question.
