Looking for first hand experience from someone in a similar situation:
I opened my Bangkok Bank account 10 years ago while I had a work permit. I have used it consistently since then and gotten 4-5 new bank cards since I keep forgetting them in the ATM.
Well, I've done it again, and now I don't have a bank card. But this time I'm on a DTV, and I'm worried that if I go to a bank branch to get a new card, they'll close my account. I didn't cancel my lost card, so I can still use it online and in apps, but I don't have a physical one.
Has anyone in this situation with a DTV and an old bank account gone to a Bangkok Bank branch to get a new bank card, and had their account closed for having a tourist visa?
