TLDR : Answer Summary
The community is currently discussing problems experienced with transferring money to Thailand using Wise. Some users report poor exchange rates and occasional card declines, while others assert that their transfers have gone smoothly without issues. There are mixed reports on transaction speed and reliability, with some individuals expressing satisfaction and suggesting alternatives like Remitly. However, one user faced significant trouble with their Wise account being frozen, causing concerns about access to their funds.
Wise froze my account. I'm lucky I had backup cash in other countries. I'll never use wise again. They still got like 850k baht frozen that I hope I'll get back soon enough.
They won't tell. I just put some travel money on there because the fees were lower but I ended up mostly using it at the atm. Then all of a sudden it was frozen and they won't tell me why or for how long. So I'm really happy that I had cash to use during this period. Otherwise I'd be fucked for real.

If it is still delayed, and you have more money you can send, even if just $5, send a ? To wise about the delay, the response will be they will contact you in a day or 2, then transfer $5, your other transfer should follow not too long after, I've done this a couple of times when my initial transfer in delayed
no not at c all. Taught my friend to transfer twice on Sunday and Monday using payid. Both times transfer took seconds. What method did you use including the reason you put for transfer?
