TLDR : Answer Summary
Many users shared their experiences with various money transfer services for sending money to Thailand. The predominant recommendation was Wise (formerly TransferWise), noted for its quick transfers and competitive exchange rates, often completing transactions within a few minutes. Several users highlighted their satisfaction with using Wise and mentioned minimal fees. Other alternatives mentioned include XE currency and Remitly, which were also praised, although slightly slower in comparison. There was caution regarding Rewire, as user reviews were mixed, prompting some to prefer more established services like Wise.
Used wise for years , no problem but takes some days , pretty sure because my lass uses Bangkok bank . But rates quoted my transfer wise same as goes in her account .
My experience with Wise (AKA Transferwise) has been, 95% of the time money is in my local bankaccount in minutes. 5% of the time, 4 or 5 days. Something to think about.
instant uk to thailand via transfer wise monday to friday during thai banking hours. however if you do the transfer during the weekend you need to wait until monday for it to go through
Never heard of them before your post. The destination/recipient countries seem to be a bit limited and they have mixed reviews on UK trust pilot website (23% recorded them as bad...). Think I'll stick with (Transfer)Wise.
