πΉπ DTV VISA APPROVED! π My Full Timeline β Thai Embassy in Mexico
After almost a month of waiting, multiple status changes, and an additional document request, my DTV visa has finally been approved! π
Here is my timeline:
π
September 29
* Submitted my DTV visa application and paid the visa fee.
* Status: Pending Document Checking.
π
October 24
* After 25 days of waiting, my application moved to Pending Approval.
π
October 25
* Surprisingly, the status changed back to Pending Document Checking.
* No additional document request was visible at that moment.
π
October 26
* Received a request for an additional police clearance certificate from Mexico (country of residence), despite already providing a police clearance certificate from the country of birth.
* Submitted the requested Mexican federal police clearance certificate.
* Status remained Pending Document Checking for some time.
* π VISA APPROVED!
βοΈ Flight: October 29
πΉπ Arrival in Bangkok: October 31, 4:15 AM
Total processing time: 27 days.
A few observations:
* The status can move from Pending Approval back to Pending Document Checking.
* Additional documents can be requested even after the application reaches Pending Approval.
* A return to document checking does not necessarily mean rejection.
* Approval can happen on the same day additional documents are submitted.
Sharing my experience because I know how stressful the waiting process can be, especially when your departure date is approaching.
Good luck to everyone still waiting for their visas! πΉππ€
