TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around finding a reliable agent to assist with the DTV (Digital Nomad) visa application process in Thailand. Multiple comments suggest that using an agent may be unnecessary, as the application can be completed through the Thai embassy's portal. However, several agents are mentioned, including Baan Thai Immigration Solutions, Issa Compass, and Siam Legal, with fees ranging from 5,000 to 11,000 baht or USD 295 for the main applicant, plus additional fees for dependants. Participants emphasize the importance of understanding the requirements and considering whether an agent is needed, as many find the process straightforward.
I used Siam Legal in Bangkok for me and my wife and 2 kids - they are super helpful and responsive, and it was a successful application for all 4 of us. They charge USD 295 for the initial/main applicant, and then USD 195 for any dependants added on later, plus you still need to pay the DTV fee, which varies per country.

We work with Issa compass and they offer money back guarantee on service fee as well as visa application fee.
That said, there may be some nationalities that they don't accept. We haven't found any other partners that offers this yet.

I think asking in this group helps you more!
I dont know what other agents do but my partner's agent just double checked documents and helped with the step by step guide lol waste of money
Basically you just pay for your mental bc whether you get the visa or not it depends on your work and financial situations.
I think maybe extra expensive agent might help you make up your story a little bit I guess....

You don't need an agent. It's a pretty straightforward process.
Emma there is nothing an agent can do when it comes to your DTV. everything is done via a portal, and requires your personal info like bank statements, flight tickets, employment contracts and maybe confirmation of soft power classes if you go that route.
My suggestion is, go through the portal on the Thai embassy website. If anything doesn’t make sense you can ask this group, then besides the odd annoying comment it’s a very helpful group. Don’t waste your money and share personal info unnecessarily 🙏

Amanda is super helpful.
You can DIY DTV but if you rather not spend hours researching all paperwork, Amanda will do it for you.
Search 'issa compass' on Google Maps and check their reviews. For about 5k thb, they ensure you get your DTV (or money-back) and prepare everything for you. It usually takes less than a week (less than 4 days in Vietnam for mine). Good luck with yours!
I used thai visa centre to help with paperwork. It wasn’t the cheapest way. But with my cognitive issues, it made sense for me that they explained what exactly they needed step by step. They showed incredible patience which I was happy to pay for including provide the request for the confirmation of my medical provider in thai language for soft power category

Baan Thai immigration solutions. I used them and know others that have used them too, they were excellent. It was about 11,000 baht and they did everything, you just have to provide them with what they ask for and they do the rest.
is completely right here. We are not providing DTV visa services, as this is the type of visa that needs to be applied from outside of Thailand and we help with visas applied from Thailand which can be read on our website.
We offered free of charge assistance, not a service. You don’t need an agent for a DTV visa.
you dont need to go mate just this agent was being honest telling her she doesn’t need an agent for dtv, but you still called them a troll, seems they have an honest business and you could be turning customers away based on a false allegation
frankly I believe that those who are Thai Visa Agents should be required to disclose that fact and state the range of their fees and scope of services offered.
