What are the steps and documents required for obtaining a DTV visa for Thailand from Vietnam?

DTV visa approved in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam - French passport

June 16, 2026: Visa application submitted

June 24: Request for additional documents

July 1: Status changed to "Pending approval"

July 3: Visa issued at 4:39 PM

Both my boyfriend and I applied separately, and both of our visas were approved at the exact same time!

Here are the documents I submitted:

* proof of entry (flight ticket / boarding pass)

* proof of accommodation

* current dated selfie

* application letter

* professional activity & portfolio

* business registration documents

* freelance service agreement & recommendation letter

* additional documents (career path & diploma)

* currency & exchange rate reference

* official bank balance certificates

* 6-month historical bank statements (proof of 500,000 thb financial continuity)

* 6-month commercial invoices & proof of income

* statutory business tax declarations (urssaf)
