TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is looking for clarification on the process of obtaining a work permit after changing employers in Thailand. A commenter explains that to apply for a WP3 work permit, the user must exit the country to get an exit stamp, which will then be used by their lawyer to process the work permit application.

I did check my P/M's :P and it is indeed what I posted.

They need to leave the country and send the exit stamp to their lawyer so that the lawyer can apply for a work permit because in order to apply for that WP3 type of work permit the person has to prove they are OUTSIDE of thailand. ;)

I think you're confused some.

I believe what you are doing is exiting the country so that they can apply for a work permit for you (because to apply for a WP3 you need to be out of the country..
