TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about converting their exemption visa to a non-immigrant B visa to facilitate obtaining a work permit, highlighting their employment with a BOI-approved company. Comments suggest consulting with immigration through the employer, mention the potential option of traveling outside the country to apply for the visa, and note that flexibility in immigration procedures is often found for BOI companies. Additionally, it's mentioned that the decision may depend on the number of days remaining on the user's current entry stamp.

It actually depends on how many days are left on your entry stamp.

Immigration is normally pretty flexible with BIO companies.

Your employer needs to lease with immigration to figure out what needs to be done. Sometimes easier to leave the country, buy a non b abroad and re enter. All depends how the company is set up.
