Just had my 5/7 RT/PRC test at Banglamung Hospital in Pattaya. No appointment required but mornings only. Bring your passport, your pink slip, Thai address & telephone # and you are good to go. No fee and you’d be wise to download and register yourself ahead of time on the LINE Ap. They send your Covid results on between 10hr-3days in THAI and I believe they can track where you are.

Had I had the Ap already installed it wud hv taken a whole 10 min.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To get the RT/PRC test in Pattaya, go to Banglamung Hospital in the morning without an appointment. Bring your passport, pink slip, and Thai address and telephone number. It is free, and downloading the LINE app in advance is recommended for result notification, which can take from 10 hours to 3 days. Note that your arrival day counts as day 0 for any related tracking.

No they told me arrival is day 0. The Ap is called “LINE”. This is what it looks like on my I-phone.

Everyone uses it instead of the “What’s Ap” in Thailand.
