Hello all! Looking for advice on how long it takes to process a Non-O retirement visa from the Canberra embassy. Applied on 28 October and the portal has showed “Pending Approval” since 4 November. Our travel date is 3 weeks today and we are trying not to panic 😝
Have sent polite email and voicemail but no response.
Any insights would be appreciated!

Users shared that their approvals often occurred close to their travel dates, suggesting a correlation between submission dates and processing. One user noted that their application took 3 weeks, while others described processes of 10 business days or less. It is recommended to follow up directly with the embassy if delays occur.

Can be as quick as 4 Days and as long as 4 weeks , never had one take longer than 4 weeks. I reckon you'd be close. My last one ( September )went from document checking to pending approval after 7 business days and then was about 10 more business days before it came through. But this is a very busy time of year.
