What Is the Process for Getting a Work Permit While Planning a Part-Time Job in Thailand?
I am planning on taking an extended trip to thailand anywhere from 6-12 months. Thought it would be fun to have a part-time job maybe as a waiter or bartender as I am planning on staying in Phuket for a good majority of the trip. What's the best way to go about getting a work permit? Do I need to apply for the job while I am there then get the work permit? Or do I need to get the work permit first then find a job? Also if anyone has any great suggestions for travel/medical insurance that would be awesome as well. Thanks and Happy New Year!

yes get it before you go and depends on what nationality you are if you can get that visa.

OPIf I'm trying to stay longer than 90 days without working then the multiple entry visa I'm assuming is the best option? Should I get that before I arrive or after?

yes get a multiple entry visa before you travel to Thailand. And you cannot work on that visa.

OPI'm planning on staying in Phuket for about 4 months I can't do tourist things every single day so I'd like to try to find a part-time job to keep me busy and make some money while I'm on my trip.
