Hi all ! I am currently owning a home in Thailand. I want to stay here. I am looking for work in management in hospitality so I do not want to ask for a retirement Visa. My current plan is 60 day Visas + 30 extensions until I find work or decide to open a business etc Any thoughts ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to stay in Thailand while searching for a job in management within the hospitality sector. They currently own a home and are considering using 60-day visas with 30-day extensions but are unsure about the best approach. The comments suggest starting a Thai registered company as a viable option, although it can be challenging and expensive. Your only real achievable method would be to start your own Thai Registered Company in a field that would allow you to make money in a business type you are allowed to be in. Not easy and it is costly.

Set up your own business.

It is very difficult to find work in Thailand in the hospitality field unless you have unique experience as a Dept. head or Executive Office level as a career hotelier.

4+ years executive level management is not a whole lot of experience...probably not enough to differentiate you from local Thai. Try a small resort somewhere or if you have a University degree (BA or BS) consider teaching hospitality / customer service focused English to hotel / F & B staff...

Teaching is an option. If you have a Bachelors Degree. You say you own a home already...in Koh Samui ? How did you purchase the home? Via setting up a Thai Company?? As you appear to be an American there are opportunity to create your own Company under Thai/American Treaty. Explore. But costly.

It is an option.
