TLDR : Answer Summary
The process of obtaining a work permit and work visa in Thailand typically requires that you first secure a job. Your employer will handle the necessary paperwork and arrange your visa and work permit. If you're considering self-employment, contacting a service provider that specializes in visa arrangements may be beneficial. Additionally, various community members recommend using established services for assistance.

I think the OP means ā€˜planning’ to work for himself and looking for advice on what kind of visa to apply for.

The ā€˜find a job’ comments don’t really answer the question. Then again, I can’t answer it either.

If you plan to work for yourself instead of working for a company you can contact them. They can arrange everything for you from thr start to you have work permit and 1 year B-Visa.

and this internship already was illegal if you spend it on a tourist visa. Only if it was an embassygranted internship, you are fine.
