TLDR : Answer Summary
Vinod from India is seeking information on obtaining a 1-year work permit visa for Thailand, including costs and recommendations for agencies. Community responses suggest consulting the employer for assistance with the work permit application, predominately highlighting that companies will often handle the visa process. Recommendations for services like Aungsu Law and Business Consultant were provided, along with advice that finding a job in Thailand is best done in person rather than online. Additionally, it's noted that work permits must be tied to specific employment, and that a specialist skill may be required, with insights on English teaching prospects.

Your employer is the one that applies for your work permit and Non-B visa. You can't get them yourself then look for a job. That isn't how it works. If you quit your job, your work permit is cancelled as well as your visa.

A lot of foreigners seem to teach English..., but I guess most schools want an original native speaker🤪🤔🤔🤔

So my best bet is you go as a tourist to Thailand, Indians now get also the 30 days visa exempt until may 2024

Then you can try to find a school or any other company that wants to hire you...

at the princely salary of 30k a month, minus tax and social security. Higher rate if you have substantial experience

they won’t help you! You need a job first, job gives visa, not a consultant. 🙄
